President & Chief Operating Officer
Carol is responsible for the oversight and building of the asset management business and has direct responsibility for all functions within the Bridgehouse operation. Prior to joining the firm in June of 2002, Carol served as SVP of Client Relations and Operations at one of Canada’s largest investment fund managers. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Carol also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. She has served on the boards of a number of organizations (industry and charitable); currently she is a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC), the Portfolio Management Association of Canada (PMAC), and Live Different, a charitable organization dedicated to inspiring young Canadians to help those less fortunate. Carol is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and is Chair of the MPower Money Coaching Program (MPower) advisory committee.
Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director, Portfolio Management and Client Services
Oliver serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Bridgehouse and is responsible for all of the firm’s Canadian functional areas. Oliver also serves as Managing Director, Portfolio Management and Client Services for Brandes Investment Partners, L.P. in San Diego.
Executive Vice President
Leah is responsible for finance, operations, human resources and strategic initiatives for Bridgehouse, oversees client servicing and is responsible for the operational activities of the Bridgehouse Funds. Before moving to the operational side, Leah was Director, Global Marketing Communications for Brandes across North America. She earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Vice President Sales
Scott is responsible for managing the Bridgehouse national sales team, including establishing and implementing sales objectives and strategies. Scott works closely with all key internal departments, including National Accounts, and remains actively involved in all new product development projects. Prior to joining the firm, Scott was a Regional Sales Manager for a large, global mutual fund organization. Previously, he was a Regional Director for a U.S. based asset manager and a Regional Vice President for a Canadian bank-owned mutual fund organization. Scott earned his B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Business Administration from Alfred University in the state of New York.
Liana George MBA
Vice President Sales Effectiveness & Support
Working closely with both the sales teams at Bridgehouse in Toronto and Brandes in San Diego, Liana is responsible for elevating our efforts at growing new business and new business relationships. She leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive inside sales strategy that includes training, coaching and improving our sales processes and practices to drive efficiency and results. Prior to joining the firm, Liana had a long run at a well-known Canadian asset manager, operating in various sales and marketing capacities. She earned her MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Elizabeth is responsible for the Marketing and Product Management Teams. She joined the firm in August 2015, and had worked as a consultant to Bridgehouse and Brandes since 2008. Elizabeth specializes in financial services and knowledge-based industries operating within a regulatory framework. Elizabeth’s marketing teams have been acknowledged for award-winning investor and advisor education programs. She has deep experience in all areas of marketing: strategy, creative, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, promotion, sponsorship and digital strategies and is known for strategy and creative – using an integrated marketing approach to build strong brands. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Public Relations in business communication.
Greg La Rosa
Vice President Client Services & Operations
Greg oversees the Regional Coordinator Team, and is responsible for client service and operational oversight. His team provides sales support to the Sales Team and manages relationships with Dealer Head-office personnel. In addition, Greg is responsible for IT and business/sales analytics. Prior to joining the firm, Greg led an Operations Team as Director of Dealer Relations with a leading global provider of investor and policyholder servicing solutions, and one of Canada’s largest Discount Brokerage firms. Greg completed the Electrical and Civil Engineering Program with George Brown and Ryerson University.
